The town of St.Julians is a continuous stretch along the seafront on the west coast of Malta with a long paved promenade, which twists round the picturesque bays of Spinola and Balluta and continues along the seafront to Sliema.
The elegant promenade in Spinola forms the main back-bone of the sea-side town. Summer and winter, it is a place to meet friends, walk, talk and enjoy the scenery. Although it is a rocky coastline, it has been levelled and developed for swimming, water sports and sunbathing and has many interesting features such as extensive gardens and beach-side restaurants.
